Knee arthroscopy is a surgical technique used to diagnose and treat problems in the knee joint. During the procedure, your surgeon makes a very small incision and inserts a small camera called an arthroscope into your knee. This allows them to see the inside of the joint on a screen. The surgeon can then examine a problem with the knee and, if necessary, use small instruments in the arthroscope to correct the problem.
